Last night we spoke at Food for Thought, a Pecha Kucha event in Paekākāriki, as part of No8 Wire Week, an initiative run by Kāpiti Coast District Council.
For those of you that don’t know, Pecha Kucha is a presentation format that limits speakers to 20 slides, and 20 seconds per slide (with a total run time of 6 minutes, 40 seconds). Phew!
Our talk focused on bridging the gap between social and environmental justice, using zero waste as a lens. For those of you who were unable to make the evening, we based our short talk on this guest post that we recently wrote for The Wellington Free Store’s blog, to celebrate their decision to transition towards becoming a zero waste organisation. Head on over to the blog to have a read, if you are interested!
