Zero Waste in Canterbury

Canterbury is a mighty region with zero waste options galore. To make this regional shopping guide manageable, we have divided it into geographical areas. If you shop around the region you may wish to click between different parts of the region to see what’s available.

Please note that although Christchurch City is technically part of North Canterbury, we have given it its own page because zero waste shopping in Christchurch is so huge that it would have made the North Canterbury guide very unwieldy! What this means is that some parts of North Canterbury that are actually South of Christchurch but North of Rakaia (such as Lincoln and Rolleston) are in the North Canterbury guide. While this may seem a bit counter-intuitive, we’ve followed territorial authority demarcations, so that’s the way it is.
