  • Tuesday 3 July: Reducing Our Household Rubbish: The Zero Waste Approach, 19:00-21:00 @ Nelson College School Hall, 67 Waimea Road, Nelson (co-hosted with Enviroschools Nelson, Nelson College, Nelson College for Girls, Garin College, and Nelson City Council) – event starts with a koha zero waste sausage sizzle and a cuppa (please BYO a cup and a plate for your food/drink as no disposables will be provided!). All proceeds raised from the food and drink will go to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

After the talk (at 19:30), you have the option of staying for a delicious vegan meal prepared by Bhakti Lounge. If you’re up for this optional dinner, pay $10 on the door on your way in, and please BYO clean crockery and cutlery in order to keep things waste-free!
