GoodFor Wholefoods Refillery opened its doors in Auckland at the beginning of 2017, making it New Zealand’s first totally packaging-free store. GoodFor follows in the footsteps of a growing international phenomenon of zero waste stores that offer their customers life’s essential items without the inessential packaging.
In September 2017 we sat down with James Denton, GoodFor’s founder and owner, to find out why he opened the store, what the public can expect to find when they walk in, and why reducing the packaging that surrounds our food is an individual commitment that’s well worth the effort.
